Water Rescue In Harford County: 1 Hospitalized, Official Says

One person was hospitalized after getting stuck in a creek Tuesday night in Harford County, according to authorities.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Rescuers saved someone from a vehicle in a creek Tuesday night in Harford County, according to authorities.

At 7:32 p.m., officials were called to a water rescue in the area of MD 165 at Grier Nursery Road.

Firefighters and special operations crews rescued the victim, who was taken to a regional trauma center, according to Jenn Chenworth, spokesperson for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

The victim's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, Chenworth said.

Harford County was under a hazardous weather outlook Tuesday night due to the potential for an isolated thunderstorm and isolated instances of flooding.
