Wawa Is America's Favorite Convenience Store, Survey Says
The chain, which has several stores in Bel Air, came in first among consumers looking to fuel up.
Wawa has been named America’s favorite convenience store, according to a newly released survey.
Market Force Information polled nearly 7,000 people in its annual survey, asking consumers where they prefer to fuel up and why they favor one chain over another.

Wawa ranked highest with 68 percent, edging out QuikTrip, which took the top spot last year (and which does not have any stores in Maryland).

Wawa ranked No. 2 in 2014.
All of the top three are notable for being corporate-owned, regional brands.
Wawa has locations locally at 709 Belair Road, 15150 East Churchville Road, 2300 East Churchville Road and 601 Hoagie Drive.
