Weather Alert Issued for Harford County

The National Weather Service says to expect heavy rain from the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill.

Northwest Harford County is under a hazardous weather outlook as the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill churn through the region, according to the National Weather Service.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon and evening; a few thunderstorms may become severe with locally damaging wind gusts and large hail being the primary threat. The weather alert includes northwest, central and southeast Montgomery County.

Heavy rain is possible late Saturday and Sunday as the weather system passes through the area. Flash flooding is possible during this time, the Weather Service says.
