Weather Announcement from Harford County Schools

Harford County Public Schools will dismiss two hours early on Friday, Jan. 22, according to an announcement from the school system Friday morning.

Afternoon prekindergarten and alternative education are canceled.

The school system made the announcement at 9:15 a.m. on Friday.

Maryland State Police and the State Highway Administration have declared snow emergency plans in effect throughout the state at noon on Friday.

Gov. Larry Hogan announced a state of emergency Thursday that took effect at 7 a.m. Friday.
