Weather Call From Harford County Public Schools For January 18

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — With inclement weather in the forecast, Harford County Public Schools canceled all activities Saturday, Jan. 18. School-sponsored activities and other activities in school facilities or on school property are canceled.

Harford County is under a winter weather advisory for snow, sleet and freezing rain from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

During that time, 1 to 3 inches of snowfall is possible, according to the National Weather Service. Up to 0.1 inch ice could also accumulate, weather officials said.

Drivers should anticipate slippery road conditions that will require slowing down and increasing following distance.
