Weather Decision For Harford County Public Schools Jan. 8

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Harford County Public Schools will open late Wednesday, Jan. 8. Officials announced the two-hour delay Tuesday night.

Schools and school offices will open two hours late Wednesday, according to authorities. Morning prekindergarten is canceled. First-shift custodians are to report on time, officials said.

Authorities cited weather conditions as the reason for the delay Wednesday. Forest Hill received 2.4 inches of snow Tuesday, based on preliminary data submitted to the National Weather Service.
