Weather Decision Made For Tuesday Classes: Harford County Public Schools
Harford County Public Schools and offices have changed their schedule for Tuesday after snow blanketed the state Monday into Tuesday.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD —All Harford County Public Schools and offices are closed Tuesday because of the snow.
The district was originally scheduled to open two hours late on Tuesday, but it switched to a full closure around 6:15 a.m.
Essential HCPS personnel should await further instruction from their supervisor.

School officials reminded families that school bus route status information will be posted on hcps.org to alert the community of any delays or transportation issues.
It snowed nearly all day Monday and into Tuesday morning in Maryland. Odenton got about 4.5 inches, according to Patch's unofficial measurement around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The Baltimore-DC region was forecast to see up to 4 inches of snow by Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service said. A winter weather advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Tuesday, the NWS said, with 2 to 4 inches of snow expected in much of north central, northeast and northern Maryland.
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the afternoon and evening commute," the NWS advisory said.
