What Budget Amendments did Harford County Council Pass?

Among the more significant votes was the elimination of more than $750,000 slated to construct a roundabout on Bel Air South Parkway. Councilman James McMahan, who made the suggestion along with Councilman Joe Woods, said he did not believe it would solve the traffic problems in that area.
The council also reallocated about $2.2 million from volunteer fire company funding to emergency operations. The controversial decision was met with mixed emotions from emergency service volunteers in attendance, but the county's EMS association president Albert "Cubby" Bear showed support for the county during public comment.
