What's Open, Closed on Veterans Day in Bel Air

Veterans Day is Wednesday, Nov. 11, and it’s a federal holiday.

American Legion Post 39 will hold a Veterans Day service at 3 p.m. at Bel Air Memorial Gardens. Beforehand, Cub Scout Pack 238 put flags on the veterans’ graves, The Aegis reported.

Closings

In observance of the holiday, the following will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 11:

• Town of Bel Air government offices
• Harford County government offices
• Harford County senior centers
• Harford County Public Library branches
• Harford Transit Bus Service (not in service)
• Courts
• Harford Waste Disposal Center
• U.S. Postal Service locations

• Harford County Public Schools
• Most stores and other businesses —you can search StoreBusinessHours.com for their directory of holiday closings.
• Curbside collections from the Town of Bel Air and Harford County should not be affected.
