'Wheel of Fortune' Favors Bel Air Woman: Report
In Friday's episode, she won nearly $20,000 on TV game show.
A Bel Air woman and her family will be nearly $20,000 richer, thanks to her recent appearance on “Wheel of Fortune,” according to a media report.
Amy Plotts won $19,160 in cash and prizes on the TV game show, including a $7,300 trip for two to a resort in Mexico, the Baltimore Sun reported. But she fell short in trying to solve a bonus puzzle, which would have brought her another $33,000.
Plotts said she and her husband Shaun will use her winnings to take their three children to Disney World in Florida, “and do some things around their home,” the Sun reported.

Her appearance on “Wheel of Fortune” was taped weeks ago, so on Friday night, Plotts and her family hosted a viewing party at their home that drew about 40 friends and family members.
