William Reed Georg, 75, Retired Bel Air High School PE Teacher

On June 18, 2017 William R. Georg beloved husband of Veronica Georg (nee Derda); loving son of the late Melvin and Neva Georg; dear brother of Allan George and his wife Dana of Frostburg, Ruth Kennedy and her husband William of Frostburg and Dennis Georg and his wife Virginia of Hyndman, Pennsylvania; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Mr. Georg taught Physical Education and coached at Bel Air High School from 1964-2000. Served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969. An avid sports fan who enjoyed the Terps, Orioles, Ravens and golf. He liked being outdoors working in his garden and watching the birds.

Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, 610 W. MacPhail Rd., Bel Air, MD 21014 on Thursday, June 22, from 10 to 11 a.m., where the memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.
