Winter Storm Threat Looms This Weekend In Maryland: Forecasters
A mix of rain and snow may arrive this weekend in Maryland, according to the National Weather Service.

MARYLAND — Mild temperatures mid-week will give way to winter weather in Maryland this weekend, forecasters say. The most likely areas to see impacts from the snow are in northern Maryland, according to the National Weather Service.
Frederick and Hagerstown are expected to get 1 inch of snow Saturday. The Inner Harbor in Baltimore may get less than an inch, and D.C. is not expected to see any accumulation, based on projections forecasters released Wednesday.
"Currently, it appears the highest chance of impactful wintry precipitation is over northern Maryland, eastern West Virginia into northwestern Virginia," the National Weather Service said in a statement.

In a hazardous weather outlook for the Eastern Shore this weekend, forecasters said it was probable that snow would accumulate Saturday through Saturday night. Milder air is expected to bring rain from the southeast to the northwest, with precipitation shifting from a wintry mix to rain, according to the outlook.
"Less snow and more rain is anticipated for portions of far southern New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore," according to the outlook. "The actual details and impacts however remain less certain."
