UPDATE: Winter Weather Advisory Predicts Up to 5 Inches

Several inches of snow and sleet are in the forecast for Harford and Baltimore counties, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Baltimore and Harford counties plus Baltimore City, effective from 6 a.m. Monday to 10 a.m. Tuesday.

A winter weather advisory means that snow, sleet and freezing rain may cause slippery roads.

Approximately 2 to 5 inches of snow and sleet are expected during the advisory period, according to the National Weather Service.
