Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Harford County
Harford County is under a winter weather advisory on Saturday, Nov. 24.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Freezing rain and sleet are in the forecast for Harford County Saturday morning, prompting a winter weather advisory. Drivers should be extremely careful.
Roads, bridges, ramps and overpasses may be slippery Saturday morning, officials advise.
The advisory calls for freezing rain mixed with sleet, with less than 0.1 inch of ice accumulating, according to the National Weather Service. By noon, the precipitation will have changed to all rain.

The winter weather advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 24, according to the National Weather Service.
While temperatures will climb — with a high in the upper 40s forecast for Harford County on Saturday — the roads have been at or below freezing due to the recent cold snap, creating the potential for patchy ice until about 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, weather officials advised.

Baltimore suburbs along and west of Interstate 95 may experience patchy ice Saturday morning.
Drivers should allow for extra time in their travels.

Saturday: A slight chance of freezing rain and sleet before 9 a.m., then rain. High near 46. East wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Little or no sleet accumulation expected.
Saturday Night: Rain before 10pm. Areas of fog. Low around 37. North wind 6 to 8 mph becoming northwest in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
Sunday Night: A chance of rain after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 8 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Monday: Rain likely, mainly before 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 51. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 33.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 41.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 28.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 39.
