Woman Hit By Snow Plow Outside North Bend Elementary School: HCSO

JARRETTSVILLE, MD — A woman was hit by a snow plow outside an elementary school Wednesday morning in Jarrettsville, according to authorities. She had been walking behind the snow plow outside North Bend Elementary School when it was in reverse and ran into her, officials said.

After deputies were called at 9:03 a.m., the woman was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries, authorities reported.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash, with the cooperation of Harford County Public Schools.

The woman who was injured is an employee of the school system, The Aegis reported.
