Worker Rescued From Bucket Truck In Joppa: Fire Company

Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company came to the rescue near US 40 at Joppa Farm Road.

JOPPA, MD —A hook and ladder truck saved a stranded worker in Joppa on Wednesday morning, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. The fire company said it used an aerial ladder to rescue the person, who was stuck in a malfunctioning bucket truck.

The rescue took place on Joppa Farm Road at US 40 around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, the fire company reported.
