signature “barre” workout to the community. Studio owner, Deb DeVoe, invites you to lose
weight, tone and improve your flexibility with Xtend Barre’s ballet inspired approach to fitness.
Often referred to as the “Black Swan” workout, stars like Drew Barrymore, Anna Paquin, Kelly
Ripa and Madonna have all seen great success with Xtend Barre and now, Bel Air residents can
obtain the sculpted, lean physiques they’re looking for with this fast-paced, 55-minute full body
workout.
“Our workout philosophy is simple.” explains owner Deb DeVoe, “The Xtend Barre workout
creates longer, leaner, dancer-like bodies by incorporating strength, flexibility and endurance
into one complete workout—something most workouts neglect.”
The Xtend Barre system sculpts the body proportionally so that all body parts are equally
challenged. This total body workout serves to strengthen, lengthen, and stretch the body from
top to bottom, from inside out. The end result is a long and lean physique ... without added bulk.
Based in dance and Pilates, Xtend Barre combines the amazing results of dance with the
principles of strength and safety in Pilates.

About Deb DeVoe
Deb DeVoe, owner of Xtend Barre Bel Air, has enjoyed a successful business career in which
she rose to senior level executive positions with GE, ARAMARK, and First Transit where she
improved business outcomes through results-oriented, performance-based, people-first
management. After years spending long hours at the office and traveling for work,
Deb recently stepped away from her executive responsibilities in order to live full time with
her family in Bel Air. A strong advocate of fitness and wellness, Deb knew right away right away
what she had to do -- open an Xtend Barre studio in her hometown of Bel Air.
She is excited to bring this fun and challenging workout to her community!
About Xtend Barre®
Created by former dancer and choreographer Andrea Rogers, the Xtend Barre Workout
combines exercises at a professional ballet barre with precise concentrated movements to
target small muscle groups. Plies, relevés, and a series of cardio exercises are combined with
traditional principles as well as light weight training. The focus is on "shaping" muscles by first
increasing muscle strength and then lengthening the muscles with deep stretching. The Xtend
Barre Workout has been sought after by top national Pilates instructors, dancers and leading
fitness experts, and has quickly expanded to more than 75 locations around the world, including
studios in the U.S., Australia, Dubai, Paris, London, Brazil, Canada and more. Andrea has
appeared on programs such as ABC News, CNN and NBC News, and has been featured in
Shape, Pilates Style, Fitness, OK!, and Marie Claire magazines.
