Third Annual Juneteenth Celebration
Saturday, June 22 at 12:00 pm

Hosanna School Museum will hold its third annual Juneteenth celebration festival on Saturday, June 22, from noon to 6 p.m. at the museum, 2424 Castleton Road in Darlington. The festival is open to the public, free of charge, and takes place rain or shine (protected under tents).
Juneteenth is a nationally recognized day that commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States and celebrates African American history, culture and achievement. Click here for more.
Harvest Days at the Lavender Farm

Purple Rain Lavender Farm will be open for two weekends on 22 & 23 Jun from Noon to 4pm for lavender you pick (while supplies last), yoga in the field, lavender sweets and treats, crafts, and wagon ride to the field, tours available and instructions on growing. Click here for more.

Food & drinks will be provided by Uncle’s Hawaiian Grindz, and live music will be on tap from Whistler Road for the annual event.
Yappy Hour at Black-Eyed Suzie's
Sunday, June 23 at 10:00 am
Bring your pup for drinks and treats from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the rooftop deck. A portion of the proceeds from select drinks will go to the Humane Society of Harford County.
John Carroll School Ballet Academy Open House

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door for this event, featuring beer and a spelling bee. Proceeds go to benefit homeless animals.

HCC Holds Info Night for Accelerated IA and Cybersecurity Degree

Put your career on the fast track. Harford Community College is holding an information night about its new accelerated AAS degree in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity on Monday, June 24, 5 to 7 PM, in Joppa Hall, Room 8. The accelerated program, which starts this fall, can be completed in just 17 months. A traditional two-year degree normally takes a minimum of 24 months to complete. Learn the same skills in less time for faster entry into the cyber world.
A Course In Miracles Reading Group

An ongoing discussion group on "A Course in Miracles" will be held at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Campus, in the Maryland room, on the corner of Rte 24 and MacPhail road in Bel Air, Maryland.
