3-Year-Old Girl Dies In Possible Drowning: Montgomery County Police

The investigation is ongoing, but no foul play is suspected, police said.

POTOMAC, MD — Authorities are investigating the death of a 3-year-old girl, which was initially reported as a possible drowning, according to Montgomery County police.

Officers and fire rescue personnel responded around 5:30 p.m. Saturday to the 10900 block of Burbank Drive in Potomac, police said.

The child was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to police, who said her remains will be brought to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.

The investigation is ongoing, but no foul play is suspected, police said.
