KENSINGTON, MD — Montgomery County Police took a boy into custody Tuesday in connection to an armed robbery that unfolded at Albert Einstein High School.
Details released by police indicated the robbery occurred at the high school's stadium, on the 11100 block of Newport Mill Road in Kensington.
Officials were called to the scene just before 1 p.m.
Authorities did not indicate what type of weapon was used in the robbery that prompted police to label the incident an "armed" altercation.
It's also unknown whether all individuals involved in the incident were students, or if any charges are being weighed.
Police said there were no injuries reported.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
