BETHESDA, MD — Moleskine, a brand well-known for its long list of journals and personalized notebooks, has opened a standalone store in Montgomery County.
The new store is located in Bethesda at 4808 Bethesda Ave., the space that previously housed the Ladurée cafe until 2025.
From journals to bags and accessories, the Moleskine brand offers a range of options for residents looking to freshen their stationery stockpile.
The boutique store will include limited edition collections inspired by NASA, Sakura and the Peanuts brand.
"The opening of our Bethesda store represents an exciting moment for Moleskine as we continue creating environments that feel both inspiring and deeply connected to their surroundings," Ward Simmons, president of the Americas at Moleskine, said in a statement.
"Our vision was to create more than a retail store. We wanted to create a welcoming space for the Bethesda community and the greater Washington, D.C., region where students, professionals, artists, entrepreneurs and visitors can gather, reflect and create."
"Whether someone is beginning a daily journaling practice, sketching their next idea, or simply taking a moment to think, we hope this store becomes a natural part of their everyday lives," he said.
The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
