Residents will be able to pick up their orders from the ground floor of the Solaire building, at 7607 Old Georgetown Road.

Past opening dates selected by the company were July 24 and Aug. 7. Bethesda Today previously reported that construction delays had forced officials to hold off on the opening.

While the long-awaited opening will mark the brand's first location in Maryland, it will also serve as the second within the D.C. region. The brand opened its Georgetown base at 1078 Wisconsin Ave. in D.C.'s northwest sector back in April.

The bagel shop's arrival comes as the company has been on an expansion campaign, with several new bases opening nationwide.

Once open, PopUp Bagels will join the same neighborhood that now houses the new Call Your Mother Deli, at 4828 St. Elmo Ave. The popular deli chain, which opened its new location Monday, is less than 10 minutes from PopUp Bagels' storefront.
