Reactivate the Arts Within You

This Fall season, reactivate your creative spirit by rejuvenating the arts within you through taking an art class / workshop at the Yellow Barn Studio at Glen Echo Park, with acclaimed artist, Vian Borchert who will offer two morning classes within the week and a number of workshops on the Weekends throughout the Fall season.

A popular art class that Borchert has been teaching for years returns this Fall season and starts in September, Watercolor painting art class for beginners and intermediate levels will be on Monday mornings at the Studio of the Yellow Barn at Glen Echo Park. The course explores traditional and experimental watercolor techniques along with emphasis on color theory and composition - studies of still life and landscapes will be covered throughout the course. * Another popular art class offered by Borchert this Fall, is a Drawing class also customized for beginners and intermediate students. The course covers drawing mediums like graphite pencils, charcoal, and pen & ink. * Beyond Borchert's 2 classes offerings through the Fall season, the established artist and seasoned art educator will be offering a special One-day Workshops on the Weekends on Saturdays; one in "Ink Exploration with Landscape for all Levels" in September.
