BETHESDA, MD — A historic property dating back to the 1890s was recently sold to a Bethesda resident who is aiming to turn the space into a general store and cafe, according to a report.
The Washington Business Journal reported that the historic Bethesda Community Store at 8804 Old Georgetown Road was sold to local resident Craig Hillman for $1.899 million.
Hillman told the outlet that he was "excited to bring the community into the process of reviving the local general store."
