
Get ready for a night of dancing to sweet rockin' soul as Daryl “Junior” Cline brings his legendary band The Recliners back to Bethesda Theater after many years. As a singer-songwriter and bandleader with a career steeped in soulful authenticity, Cline has spent over four decades captivating audiences with his unmistakable voice and electrifying stage presence. His band is known for its powerful blend of classic as well as original rhythm and blues with signature full horn section and high energy delivery that have made them a staple of the East Coast music scene. This special performance features a dynamic mix of crowd pleasing favorites and original hits with an all-star line up of top tier musicians including Tommy Lepson, Wayne Sulc, Christo Pellani, Doug Corbin, Bill Starks, Billy Craig and Justine Miller.
Opening the night is an electric performance by Guy Bouchie and his talented band mixing rock, soul, boogie and heartfelt blues. Bouchie builds on the tradition of singing guitarists adding a fresh take with his personal brand of high energy performance. His band features premier area musicians Tommy Lepson on keyboards, Ben Tufts on drums and Kurt Kratch on bass.
