$1.6M In Grant Funding Available To Prince George's Nonprofits, Apply By Nov. 12
An estimated $1.6 million in grant funding has been earmarked for Prince George's County nonprofits with a Nov. 12 application deadline.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — An estimated $1.6 million in funding will be awarded to eligible nonprofits through the fiscal year 2022 Community Partnership Grant program. Local nonprofit organizations that provide community-based program initiatives to help foster the growth and development of people and communities in the county are encouraged to apply.
“Our vision is to grow pride and sustainability in our Prince George’s County community by improving the quality of life for our residents,” Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks said. “In keeping with our guiding principles of integrity, innovation, collaboration and solutions, we have revamped our Community Partnership Grant Program application process to adhere to national best practices and standards.”
Any organization, institution or association incorporated as a nonprofit organization as designated under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code that provides services in Prince George’s County is eligible to apply. However, only one application per organization will be accepted. The deadline for application submission is Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. Applications, FAQs, guidelines and lists of past recipients are available here.
