Officers explained that the signal turned green, and Hayes quickly changed lanes. Her 2020 Nissan Versa then hit the back of a 2019 Ford Explorer and eventually a 2011 Ford truck, the report indicated.

The collision hurt the 75-year-old Upper Marlboro man who was the only one in the Explorer, troopers informed. The 55-year old Edgewater man driving the truck was uninjured and drove away from the scene, police reported.
