1 Man Dead, 1 In Hospital After Adelphi Crash: Police
A crash on Riggs Road left one man dead and another injured Tuesday morning.
ADELPHI, MD — A man is dead and another is in the hospital after a two-car collision in Adelphi Tuesday morning, police said.
The crash took place in the 10000 block of Riggs Road at around 7:30 a.m. Police said arriving officers found an adult male driver dead on the scene.
The other driver was transported to the hospital with "what preliminarily appears to be non-life threatening injuries," police said.

There were no passengers in either cars. The crash shut down Riggs Road between Mistletoe Place and Towhee Avenue. As of 10:15 a.m., the roads are reopened.
