$1 Million Lottery Ticket Sold in Greenbelt

Check your numbers if you recently bought a lotto ticket in Greenbelt: you could be a millionaire.

Do you have a $1 million lottery ticket in your pocket? If you bought a Mega Millions ticket in Greenbelt, it's possible.

The Maryland Lottery said in a statement that Greenway Liquors at 7533 Greenbelt Road in Greenbelt sold the state's only $1 million winning ticket in the Friday, July 8 drawing.

It's the second time that store has sold a $1 million winning Mega Millions ticket in just the last two years.

The winning ticket for the $540 million jackpot was sold in Indiana. Maryland sold one of the 10 tickets nationwide that matched five of the winning numbers, getting the $1 million prize. The winning numbers are 8, 19, 20, 55 and 73, with a Mega Ball number of 5.

The winner has 182 days to claim the prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore.

The retailer who sold the ticket gets a $2,500 bonus.
