100K Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In Prince George's County Reported
According to the Maryland Department of Health, as of Monday, the state has 566,637 confirmed cases.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — As of Monday, Prince George's County has a total of 100,125 positive COVID-19 cases; 521 new cases; and 1,672 deaths, according to the Prince George's County Health Department. The state has 566,637 confirmed cases and 10,757 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health.
The following zip codes have the highest confirmed case counts in Prince George's County as of Nov. 8:
- 20783 with 5,886 cases
- 20706 with 5,513 cases
- 20744 with 5,492 cases
- 20785 with 4,755 cases
- 20774 with 4,708 cases

The CDC advises taking several measures to help stop the spread of the virus, including the following:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
- Cover coughs and sneezes.
- Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated spaces.
- Stay 6 feet away from others.
- Clean and disinfect.
- Monitor your health daily.
