$100K Lotto Win Leads To New Home Purchase For Prince George's Woman

A woman gifted her adult kids scratch-off tickets. One ended up winning $100K, which her adult daughter plans to use to buy a house.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A Maryland Lotto fan gifted a scratch-off ticket to her daughter, which ended up netting $100,000. The daughter plans to buy a new home with the winnings.

The Prince George's woman gave each of her five adult children a $10 Ice scratch-off, which has a top prize of $100,000. The $10 tickets, including the winner, were purchased at the Camp Meade Shell station at 463 North Camp Meade Road in Linthicum.

The adult daughter scratched her ticket at home and discovered she had a matching number 14 that corresponded to the $100,000 prize. In shock, she used the lottery app on her phone to scan the ticket, which confirmed the big win.
