17 Dogs Rescued From Cruelty In Prince George’s: Police
A Bowie man beat several dogs, police said. Officers reported that they caught and arrested the suspect.
BOWIE, MD — Police said a Bowie man beat and injured several dogs with a wooden spoon. Officers reported that they arrested the suspect last Wednesday. A press release identified the accused man as 46-year-old Foday Bangalie Kabba.
The write-up noted that the Prince George's County Police Department secured an arrest warrant on March 14. Officers added that they heard tips about animal cruelty at a Hyattsville home in the 1800 Block of Dutch Village Drive two days later.
Police mentioned that they found multiple dogs injured and without food or water in the residence. Deputies named Kabba as a suspect. A press release informed that animal control saved 17 dogs, some of which were puppies, from the home.

Authorities advised that they talked with Kabba on the phone on the day of his arrest and convinced the accused man to turn himself in. Deputies stated that they then met up with Kabba and took him to the Prince George's County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro.
