PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in Largo Monday. Marquise Williams, 18, of Landover was pronounced dead on the scene.
Officers were called to the 600 block of Harry S. Truman Drive Dec. 11 around 12:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting. They found Williams in a parking lot with a fatal gunshot wound. A second man who had been shot was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released, the police department stated.
A preliminary investigation suggests Williams and the second male shot each other during a dispute. Detectives are working with the State’s Attorney’s Office regarding any potential criminal charges.
