19-Year-Old Virginia Man Fatally Shot In Prince George's County: Police

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 19-year-old Virginia man was fatally shot in Capital Heights Sunday morning. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On Aug. 21 before 3 a.m., officers were called to the 1300 block of Richie Road for a reported shooting. They found Carlos Benitez-Arevalo outside of a gas station with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the police department.
