1st Degree Murder Charges Filed Against Prince George's Man: Police

A Prince George's County man faces 1st degree murder charges in the shooting death of a 31-year-old Greenbelt man.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The suspect in a November 2021 fatal shooting has been arrested by Prince George's County Police. Beran Samuels, 27, of Chillum has been charged with the murder of 31-year-old Oshane Davis of Greenbelt.

On Nov. 3, 2021, officers responded to the 1300 block of Chillum Road for a reported shooting. Once on scene, officers found Davis at a business with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to Prince George's County Police.

The preliminary investigation showed Davis had been shot at an apartment building in the 5700 block of 16th Avenue in Chillum and drove himself to the business for help. Samuels has charged with first-degree murder and related charges, according to Prince George's County Police.
