2 Arrested In Riverdale Park Killing: Police

Police say the two suspects got into an argument with the victim, leading to the shooting.

RIVERDALE PARK, MD — Police have arrested two men in connection with a homicide in Riverdale Park in July, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.

Police arrested 19-year-old Marquise Dinkins of D.C. and 30-year-old Charles Howard Davis of Bladensburg in connection with the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Cesar Bazan of Landover Hills.

Riverdale Park Police were called to the 5500 block of 54th Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. on July 26 to a report of a shooting, and found Bazan outside suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the report. He died a short time later at the hospital.

Police believe the suspects and victim got into an argument before the shooting. Both suspects face charges of first and second degree murder.
