2 Separate House Fires Force 4 Residents From Their Prince George's Homes: Official

Two separate fires at a Prince George's house and a duplex this week caused four residents to be displaced from their homes, officials said.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Firefighters from the Prince George's Fire Department battled two blazes within a little more than half a day that displaced four people total.

Tuesday around 4:30 p.m., firefighters were called to the 600 block of Rollins Avenue in Capitol Heights. A fire was burning on the second floor of a two-story single-family home. Three residents were displaced and that fire is under investigation.

Wednesday morning around 6:30 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the 4100 block of 25th Avenue in Temple Hills. They found a duplex-style house with a fire on the second floor. One resident was displaced in that fire, which is under investigation.
