2 Inmates Convicted In Attack On Prisoner
Two men have been convicted in an attack on a fellow prisoner at the Prince George's County Detention Center.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A prisoner has been convicted in the stabbing of a fellow detention center inmate.
On Sept. 1, 2025, Brice Wright and Bilal Ansariddeen went into the victim's cell at the Prince George's County Detention Center and repeatedly stabbed him with an improvised weapon in what authorities described as a "coordinated stabbing attack." The inmate sustained stab wounds to his chest and back, as well as a serious head laceration.
Prosecutors stated that the victim wouldn't identify his attackers, but they were able to "secured convictions through surveillance footage, medical evidence and testimony from law enforcement and detention center personnel."

Wright has been convicted of conspiracy to commit murder and attempted second-degree murder. Ansariddeen has been convicted of first-degree assault.
