2 Residents Displaced After Fire Damages Fort Washington Home

Two residents have been displaced after a fire damaged their two-story split foyer home in Fort Washington.

After firefighters extinguished the fire, a search for any victims yielded none. Two adults were displaced and will be helped by the Prince George's County of the Office of Emergency Management.

FORT WASHINGTON, MD — Prince George's County firefighters were called to a home Thursday afternoon for a fast-moving blaze.

They arrived at the house, located in the 12400 block of Asbury Drive in Fort Washington, shortly after 3 p.m. The found fire shooting out of the front and side windows of the two-story split foyer home.

After firefighters extinguished the fire, a search for any victims yielded none. Two adults were displaced, according to the county fire department, and will be helped by the Prince George's County of the Office of Emergency Management.
