Do you have any previous political experience? If so, please state and explain how that experience will influence your time in office if elected.

While I have not previously held elected office, I bring over 20 years of leadership experience serving our nation in the United States Air Force and additional experience supporting government operations and management. My background has taught me accountability, discipline, mission execution, and problem-solving under pressure. I believe public service should focus on results, transparency, and putting residents first. If elected, I will bring a solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to listening to the community.

What do you believe is the single-most important issue facing voters in the district you’re looking to represent? How do you intend to address those issues?

Public safety and economic opportunity are among the most urgent concerns facing residents today. Families want safe neighborhoods, responsive government, and opportunities for economic growth. I intend to support stronger community policing efforts, better coordination between agencies, investment in youth programs, and policies that encourage responsible business development and job creation. We must create a county where families feel safe and businesses feel confident investing.

How do you differ from other candidates running against you?

I offer a different perspective rooted in military service, government operations, and real-world leadership experience. I am focused on practical solutions instead of political talking points. My campaign is centered on accountability, public safety, economic growth, and improving quality of life for residents across the district.

How would your work experience benefit the goals/objectives you’ve outlined in your campaign and/or the office you’re seeking?

My professional background includes leadership, budgeting, operations management, security, and strategic planning. I have managed complex programs, worked in high-pressure environments, and learned how to bring people together to accomplish goals. Those experiences directly translate into serving residents effectively and ensuring taxpayer dollars are used responsibly.

What is your opinion of the work being done by the current office holder, and how will you improve on it?

I respect anyone willing to serve the public, but I believe there is always room for improvement when it comes to transparency, responsiveness, and long-term planning. Residents deserve leadership that is proactive, visible in the community, and focused on measurable results. I want to strengthen communication with residents and bring a stronger focus on accountability and economic development.

How do you feel about the school system in your area and what improvements would you like to see be made?

Our students, parents, and teachers deserve a school system that is safe, well-supported, and focused on academic achievement. We should continue investing in teacher retention, career and technical education, STEM opportunities, school safety, and partnerships that prepare students for college, trades, entrepreneurship, and military service. We must also ensure parents have a stronger voice in their children’s education.

How do you feel about crime in your area and what steps can be taken to reduce it?

Crime remains a serious concern for many residents. We need a balanced approach that supports law enforcement while also addressing prevention and community engagement. That includes increasing police recruitment and retention, improving technology and coordination, supporting youth mentorship programs, and addressing repeat violent offenders. Residents should feel safe in their neighborhoods, schools, and businesses.

What do you think about the economic climate and business sector in your community, and what initiatives could propel it forward?

Prince George’s County has enormous potential, but we must become more competitive in attracting and retaining businesses. We should streamline processes for small businesses, invest in workforce development, support local entrepreneurs, and encourage industries such as technology, cybersecurity, clean energy, and logistics. Economic growth should benefit all communities throughout the county.

How do you feel about transportation options in the area and what, if anything, should be improved upon?

Transportation remains a challenge for many residents. We need better traffic management, safer roads, expanded public transit accessibility, and infrastructure improvements that support both residents and businesses. We should also continue exploring smart growth strategies that reduce congestion while improving connectivity throughout the county.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I am running because I care deeply about the future of our community and believe residents deserve leadership that is accessible, accountable, and focused on results. My goal is to help make Prince George’s County a safer, stronger, and more prosperous place for families, businesses, and future generations.
