PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — As of Monday, Prince George's County has reached a total of 102,115 positive COVID-19 cases and 1,699 deaths, according to the Prince George's County Health Department. The state has 592,679 confirmed cases and 11,022 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health.

The following zip codes have the highest confirmed case counts in Prince George's County as of Dec. 6:

• 20783 with 5,956 cases
• 20744 with 5,602 cases
• 20706 with 5,590 cases
• 20785 with 4,858 cases
• 20772 with 4,827 cases

The county health department has its own website created to monitor the situation, broken down by new cases per day and other data.

The CDC advises taking several measures to help stop the spread of the virus, including the following:

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
