$25K Reward Offered In Hyattsville Fatal Shooting Investigation: Prince George's Police

A $25K reward has been offered for information in a fatal shooting that happened in Hyattsville, according to Prince George's Police.

HYATTSVILLE, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Thursday night in Hyattsville. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On March 28 around 10:25 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 6500 block of Ager Road for a report of a shooting. They found 33-year-old Cesar Benitez of Chantilly, Virginia, outside with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s). Anyone with information about this case can call detectives at 301-516-2512.
