$25K Reward Offered In Fatal Shooting Of Suitland Man: Prince George's Police

A $25K reward has been offered for information in the fatal shooting Sunday of a Suitland man, Prince George's Police say.

CAMP SPRINGS, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Sunday morning, police say. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On April 7 at approximately 3:15 a.m., Prince George's officers were called to the 6300 block of Suitland Road for the report of a shooting. Police found 47-year-old Darryl Hazel of Suitlandoutside with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to the police department.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s). Detectives do not believe this was a random crime. Anyone with information about this case who would like to speak to a detective can call 301-516-2512.
