$25K Reward Offered About Fatal Shooting At Youth Football Game That Injured Child: PGPD
PGPD has offered a $25K reward for information about a fatal shooting Saturday at a youth football game that also injured a child.
OXON HILL, MD — A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the fatal shooting case that happened at a youth football game Saturday in Oxon Hill.
On June 15 around 11:20 a.m., Prince George's police officers were called to Potomac High School on Boydell Avenue for a report of a shooting. They found 33-year-old Christopher Mozee of District Heights in the bleachers with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. A child also was shot and driven by a personal vehicle to the hospital but the injury wasn't considered life-threatening.
Detectives currently believe the shooting was sparked by an argument among spectators at the youth football game.
