$25K Reward Offered In Man's Shooting Death In Capitol Heights: Police
A $25K reward has been offered for information in a 57-year-old man's shooting death that happened in Capitol Heights, police say.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Monday around 8:25 a.m. in Capitol Heights. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
Officers were called to the 1700 block of Kenilworth Avenue in the unincorporated section of Capitol Heights for a report of a shooting. Officers found 57-year-old Donald Head of no fixed address outside with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later, the police department reported.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s). Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime. If anyone has information relevant to the investigation and would like to speak to a detective, they are asked to call 301-516-2512.
