$25K Reward Offered for Tips in Springdale Homicide

Prince George's County Police have released a video of the victim in his neighborhood shortly before the Nov. 10 shooting.

Surveillance video has been released of a Springdale man driving through his neighborhood shortly before he was shot to death as police search for suspects in the case.

Bernard Parker, 59, of Utica Place in Springdale, was shot in his car not far from his home on Nov. 10. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.

Prince George’s County Police detectives on Friday released surveillance video of Parker driving in his neighborhood moments before the shooting. Police say Parker was not traveling with the shooter. Detectives believe the suspect was outside of Parker’s car.

Investigators are working to identify the motive and suspect in Parker’s murder.
