2K Free COVID Test Kits To Be Distributed To Bowie Residents Friday
The city of Bowie will be giving out free COVID test kits Friday during a drive-thru event. People must show proof of residency

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Free COVID-19 home test kits will be handed out to individuals who live within the municipal limits of the city of Bowie Friday. Distribution will begin at 9 a.m. at the Bowie Senior Center, 14900 Health Center Dr., while supplies last.
The city has received 2,000 test kits total and will hand out 1,000 Friday. An additional 1,000 kits were to be handed out Saturday but that event has been canceled due to the weather forecasted for the weekend and will be rescheduled. Each household is eligible to receive one test box that contains two test kits. Proof of residency will be required.
This will be a drive-thru event and residents should remain in their vehicles and wear masks while interacting with city staff, officials noted.
