2nd Victim Dies After Shooting In Laurel: Police

A 2nd victim has died in a shooting that happened March 12 in Laurel. The 1st victim died at the scene and a 3rd survived his injuries.

LAUREL, MD — The Laurel Police Department has identified the two victims who were fatally shot around 1:34 a.m. March 12.

Police were called to the 600 block of Lafayette Avenue in Laurel for a report of a shooting. They found 23-year-old Louis B. Rackett of Washington, D.C., and 21-year-old Quincy P. Green, Jr. also of Washington, D.C., with gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene and the other died at a local hospital. A third victim drove itself to an area hospital and received treatment, police said.
