BREAKING: A suspect has been arrested in the murder of three young girls, one of whom was his 6-year-old sister, police say.
(Updated 11:50 a.m. Saturday): CLINTON, MD — Police arrested a 24-year-old man for the murder of three young girls in Clinton; one of the victim was his 6-year-old sister and the other girls were relatives visiting from New Jersey, authorities say. The homicide scene is what police spokesperson Jennifer Donelan called "one of the most difficult scenes" Prince George's County officers have investigated.
Antonio Williams, 24, who lives on the same block where the murder occurred, was arrested in the triple homicide, police announced late Friday night. Williams was charged with killing his sister, 6-year-old Nadira Withers, at their home on Brooke Jane Drive in Clinton, according to police.
He's also charged with killing 9-year-old Ariana Decree and 6-year-old Ajayah Decree, who were apparently visiting and on vacation. The Decree sisters are from Palm Street in Newark, and they are the daughters of the suspect’s mother’s cousin, police said

On August 18th, at about 7:35 am, patrol officers were called to the house in the 6400 block of Brooke Jane Drive. Withers’ mother had just returned home from work and discovered the victims. The victims were suffering from stab wounds and pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
The preliminary investigation reveals Williams had sole care and custody of the children at the home overnight into Friday. He has confessed to killing the victims. Detectives are working to establish a motive in this case, police said.

Evidence techs were inside the home late Friday night collecting information, as well as homicide investigators and the entire command staff.
Police have not released the cause of death.
"We have families that we need to be concerned about, grieving families. We have officers who arrived on scene — this is one of the most difficult scenes that our officers arrived on," Donelan said.
Police said this is an incident specific to this residence and confined to this particular home.
Counseling services were on the scene working with the first arriving officers. The fire department will most likely provide the same services for their firefighters, Donelan said.
Police are expected to provide an update Friday afternoon. This is a developing story. Like the Bowie Patch Facebook page to follow along:
