3 Suspects Arrested, 3K Fentanyl Pills And Guns Recovered: Prince George's Police

Three suspects have been arrested and 3,300 fentanyl pills recovered along with multiple weapons during the search of a house, police say.

LAUREL, MD — Three suspects have been arrested and thousands of fentanyl pills along with multiple weapons have been recovered by the gang unit of the Prince George's County Police Department.

During the course of their investigation, detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Avebury Drive in Laurel. Four firearms, 300 fentanyl pills and other items of evidence were recovered. A subsequent search warrant of two vehicles connected to the suspects led to the recovery of an AK-47, three pounds of marijuana and 3,000 fentanyl pills.

The suspects facing charges are 26-year-old Dream Edwards of Columbia, 22-year-old Romel Johnson of Laurel and 34-year-old Michael Jordan Thompson of Washington, D.C.

Edwards and Johnson face multiple charges that include firearms offenses and drug trafficking related offenses. Thompson has been charged with multiple drug-related offenses.
